Building a Quiz From Scratch in Google Forms
Step 1. Go to forms.google.com, click the blank form + button, give the quiz a title.
Step 2. Click the gear icon (Settings) > Quizzes tab > toggle "Make this a quiz." Choose when to release grades - immediately after submission or manually later.
Step 3. Click + to add questions. Use Multiple Choice for single-answer questions (auto-gradable). Checkboxes for multi-answer. Short Answer for exact-text matching. Paragraph requires manual grading.
Step 4. For each question, click "Answer key" at the bottom left. Mark the correct answer(s), set point values, add optional feedback text.
